Beth Smith, MS, RDN

Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist working for Sensibly Sprouted- a group of dietitians specializing in Medical Nutrition Therapy with an integrative foundation. This means that my counseling style is collaborative and realistic, focusing on an individual approach that leads to sustainable lifestyle changes. I’m deeply inspired by data-driven protocols focused on extending health span, and I love translating that high-level science into actionable coaching for my clients.

I’m originally from the midwest where I began my nutrition education at The Ohio State University. I earned my Master of Science degree at Arizona State University. While there I also completed my dietetic internship. Over the years, my interest and compassion for integrative medicine led me to various certifications in integrative health and wellness at the University of Arizona, Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (AWCIM). Most recently, I completed the Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching Program at AWCIM.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, gardening and horses. I have a passion for learning all things related to improving health span.

I believe the path to wellness is a unique journey for everyone. My goal is to partner with individuals to define that pathway as they learn about solid, evidence-based nutrition and establishing a lifelong practice of healthy living.

Is Medical Nutrition Therapy or MNT right for you?

MNT is a good fit if you want personalized, evidence-based nutrition counseling that fits your real life. It’s especially helpful if you’ve tried to improve your nutrition on your own and want support that’s sustainable, not restrictive. Supportive health coaching guides you along the way. Registered Dietitians tackle a wide range of health needs, including diabetes, digestive concerns like IBS and bloating, high cholesterol, heart health, food sensitivities, hormone-related conditions, and sustainable weight management. I’d love to work with you.
